In the US, people with disabilities are 1.5 times more likely than those without disabilities to be self-employed. In some cases, entrepreneurship provides the only pathway to work.

Band of Billions is a social enterprise on a mission to accelerate the creation and discovery of businesses founded by/employing/serving people with disabilities and family caregivers. In early 2023, we're launching:

- a directory of businesses leveraging the talent of people with disabilities (think Yelp)

- business and networking tools for founders and entrepreneurs.

Since 2020, small business owners have endured increased challenges to supply chain, on-site retail sales, and an increased need to reach customers online. It can take several years to become profitable under the best of conditions and we aim to reduce these compounded challenges by connecting social ventures directly with customers eager to purchase from them.
